More time options
It’s disappointing to have an app like this that assumes the latest anyone can go to bed is 10:15 or whatever the latest time is, as someone who works late nights and often does not get off work until this time then must commute home that’s 2h of time I am unable to schedule in the app, make this app useless in the evening. Making it a 24 hour day or even making that a seeing would be much appreciated

PinnedHi Jamie,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful message! we really do appreciate you taking the time to share detailed feedback with us.
I completely understand how the current latest time limit can feel restrictive, especially for people like you who work late nights and commute home afterward. Your situation is absolutely valid, and feedback like yours helps us see where the app may not yet fit everyone’s routines as well as it could.
I also want to explain why the current limit (11:45 PM) exists. Since PlanUp is a daily planner, each day is defined strictly from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. This structure is important not only for consistency but also because we’re laying the groundwork for future integrations with tools like Google Calendar, Notion, and others. These platforms also rely on clearly defined 24-hour boundaries, and allowing tasks to extend into the next day could create conflicts or confusion, especially for newer users.
That said, you’re absolutely right that some people have schedules that naturally extend past midnight. We have explored options such as allowing tasks to overflow into the next day with a clear “+1 day” indicator. While this introduces some complexity, it’s still on our radar as something we may revisit if we can implement it in a way that remains clear and compatible with future integrations.
Your feedback is genuinely helpful as we continue shaping PlanUp to serve as many different lifestyles as possible. Thank you again for taking the time to reach out, it really does help improve the experience for thousands of users.
And, to end on a fun note… a huge announcement is coming soon: PlanUp 2.0! We think you’re going to love what’s on the way.
Thanks again, Jamie.
